Preview Words
Lesson Purpose:
The purpose of this lesson is become familiar with the meaning, spelling, and pronunciation of the vocabulary words in this unit.
Instructions:
- Play the audio and read the word on the card. Repeat until you can pronounce the word like the native Thai speaker in the recording.
- Say the word out loud in Thai. Then say the word in English.
- Repeat for each card in the deck. You don’t need to memorize every word now–just become familiar with the meaning, spelling and pronunciation.
Single and multiple consonant words. (review consonant clusters from intro chapter).
Single syllable words:
Explain with examples form this chapter. (always pronounce the consonant in the syllable first, then the vowel.
